Would it be possible to have cruise control come on at 20mph instead of 22mph which it is as standard?
20mph zones are increasing in the UK and are in force around all the schools.
Have you looked into MAF delete also?

I never thought about the change in the minimum speed for the cruise control. I do not know if it's possible. I will check.

What does it mean to delte MAF? You mean no fault in ECU after it was disconnected?

We all know that you can disconnect the MAF sensor and it will then run with default settings. Someone has worked out a way so that the the MAF can be deleted for the better and save the £120 for a new one.
Cytat:
Not here to witter on about the mafless patches so I'll try and limit it to a couple of sentences - at the factory fuel is limited by the mass air flow signal for smoke limitation reasons, the more airflow detected, the higher proportion of your throttle position is considered 'valid' for fuel delivery. My tweak substitutes the signal for the MAP sensor (boost pressure) - fuel is still limited based on boost (and thus airflow indirectly) but the pressure sensor is far more reliable in the long term (almost 100%).
Sometimes people ask why they don't use this method from the factory, two answers - the first is that they did, and still do in some cases - the second and more boring answer is that for a while manufacturers preferred maf signals as they respond a bit quicker and so easier to work with when making low emissions calibrations. These advantages don't really manifest into anything concrete outside the calibration and emission testing world, and almost all turbo conversions I do map will end up running on map based calibration even if not as stock.
longer86 it's useful driving 40 km/h behind 120 y.o. grandfather who's driving from church at sunday and it's impossible to pass him. No need to operate gas pedal = less stress
I haven't got cruise control, but I don't even mind to use it on city roads with such low speeds. Cruise control is good on motorway
We have speed cameras, and camera vans, and police by the roadside with speed guns. In the UK it's too easy to get caught speeding so we use cruise control nearly all the time especially around town to stop people from pushing us over the speed limit. To be able to set it at 20mph would be really useful.
